How to connect your Vimeo account with VidApp

In order to sync videos from your Vimeo streaming account, you will need to setup an app. Note, you must be on a Enterprise Vimeo plan or greater to access the API

1. Go to Vimeo Developer and click Get started

2. Enter these details:
   App name: 'the name of your app'
   App description: N/A

3. Select No for Will people besides you be able to access your app?

4. Tick I agree & click Create App

   

5. Copy the Client identifier & Client Secret and write these down/save them for later (you will need to send these to VidApp)

6. In Vimeo, click Authenticated (you) and select Public, Private, Purchased, Video Files, and Upload then click Generate

   

7. Copy the Token generated and save this (IMPORTANT: you will not be able to access it again after leaving this page

8. Send the Client identifier, Client Secret and Token to [e-mail] 

9. Click Save
