The app supports casting, allowing you to stream the videos directly to your TV. This can be done using one of the following methods described below:
Google Chromecast or AndroidTV
If you have a Google Chromecast device connected to your TV or have a TV with AndroidTV built in, you can cast from either an Android or iOS device*. To do this:
- open any video
- tap the cast button at the top right
- then select your device from the pop-up menu to start casting
Apple Airplay
If you have an AppleTV device or another device that supports Airplay, such as the latest Roku devices or Samsung TVs, you can cast videos from an iOS device* by following the steps below:
- open any video
- tap the cast button at the top right
- tap More Devices from the first pop-up menu
- then select your device from the second pop-up menu to start casting
Other TVs or Devices (e.g. Samsung, LG, Amazon FireTV)
Some TVs & devices use another form of casting called Miracast. You can use an Android device** with screen mirroring to cast to these devices. To do this:
- In your settings on your Android phone or tablet, open the ‘Wireless Display’ application. This may also be found in the command centre when swiping down from the top of your screen.
- The name of the Wireless Display application may vary depending on the device type and model. Refer to the device’s carrier or manufacturer user manual for more details.
- select your device from the connection menu to start casting your phone's screen
- open the app
- open any video & tap full screen to watch on your TV
*Your mobile device and casting device need to be connected to the same WIFI network for casting to be available
**iOS & Google Pixel devices do not support Miracast so can only be cast to a TV using either Airplay or Chromecast.
