How do I change my app's display type?

Your app's Display Type is how your content is showcased inside the app. We've crafted a bunch of interactive and aesthetically appealing ways to best showcase your content to your users. Using the VidApp Builder, you can choose between these display types.

Updating your tab display type

  1. Log into the Builder

  2. Click Build

  3. Locate the tab you wish to update the display type for and click the Tab Type dropdown menu on this tab

  4. Select the display type you want

  5. Click Save and Publish to preview to test your new app changes. Then, once your changes are ready to go live to all users click Publish to live apps

Updating your collection display type

  1. Log into the Builder

  2. Click Build

  3. Locate and click the collection you wish to update the display type for. A right-sided tab bar will then appear

  4. In the right-sided tab bar, click the Collection Display dropdown menu

  5. Select the display type you want

  6. Exit the tab bar

  7. Click Save and Publish to preview to test your new app changes. Then, once your changes are ready to go live to all users click Publish to live apps
