What is the Community Polls feature?
Polls are a new post type that allows Admins to ask questions and get feedback directly from their members inside the Community feed. This is an excellent tool for engaging your audience, making decisions, and learning what your members want to see.
How to Set Up a Poll (for Admins)
Only Admins are able to post polls.
- From the Community feed in your mobile or web app, start a new post.
- Select the "Poll" option.
- Write your question: You can use up to 500 characters.
- Add answers: Add at least two options for your members to vote on. Each answer option has a 200-character limit.
- Configure Poll Settings:
- Allow multiple answers: Toggle this ON if you want members to be able to select more than one option.
- Poll duration: Choose how long the poll will be open for (e.g., 24 hours, 3 days, 1 week).
- Post your poll to the feed.
How Polls Work
- For Members: Members will see the poll in their feed and can cast their vote. Once they've voted, they won't be able to update their vote.
- When a Poll Closes: After the set duration ends, the poll is automatically closed. It will remain in the Community feed with its final results visible, serving as a permanent record of the feedback.
