Reminder Emails of Upcoming Subscription Renewals

It is often recommended to send your members a reminder email when their subscription is about to renew. To do this, follow the below steps: 

1. Log into your Stripe dashboard
2. Go to Settings
3. Navigate to Billing 
4. Click on the Subscriptions and emails 
5. Toggle on the "send emails about upcoming renewals" option 
6. (Optional) Change the payment method updates to Link to a Stripe-hosted page
7. Click Save

Once enabled, Stripe will send a reminder email to all of your members 7 days before their subscription is due to renew. This is applicable for all subscriptions regardless of the subscription duration. 

Customisation of this email is currently not supported by Stripe.  

 

Sending reminder email only on Annual Subscription

If you are using VidApp Emails, you will be able to send a customisable email to your Annual subscribers. This will be sent 28 days before the subscription is due to renew. To do this:

1. Log in to your Builder
2. Navigate to Web App > Emails 
3. Click Edit on the Annual Subscription Reminder email 
4. Customise the email as you see fit 
5. (Optional) Send a test email
6. Toggle On the email 

7. Save
